Virtual Booth Instructions
You’ve confirmed your booth, received your confirmation, and now ready to start promoting your booth. Your online booth profile is a one-stop-shop to provide all the information ASTD needs to promote your booth presence on the conference website, in T+D, and the Program Guide. Here’s how you do it!
Login to your virtual booth. Please note: Internet Explorer works best for accessing your virtual booth.
Enter your company password. Your password was emailed with your booth confirmation and is a letter/number combo. The letters are all CAPS.
Click the Edit link under “Edit Booth Info”
Review/edit the information listed. If you want to change the Exhibitor Name, please email email@example.com.
The Welcome Message is a headline for your virtual booth. You can include a company slogan, highlight your product or service, or just say Welcome! This is only displayed online.
The Print Profile is what is printed in the Program Guide and T+D. It is a maximum of 250 characters including spaces. You cannot preview the Print Profile online since it is only printed. Descriptions may be edited to conform to ASTD editorial style guidelines.
The Online Profile is what is displayed online with your virtual booth. This can be up to 1,000 characters including spaces.
If you are a sponsor or purchased a Premium Upgrade you have the option of uploading a logo and including company brands. These are displayed online only. Logos must be less then 30kb and 250Wx120H in size.
Select no more than 3 Areas of Expertise. No new categories will be added.
The items grayed out at the bottom are admin items for your info only. If you want to be sure that your logo or forms have been received by ASTD, this is where you should look.
Select the Save button and the screen will refresh. If there are any errors, it will be noted in red at the top of the page.
Click the Preview link to see what your listing looks like online.
Select Exhibitor Console on the left-hand navigation bar under Confirmed Exhibitors to get back to the main page. Click the Edit link under Show Specials.
Enter a title and description. You can format the body with different fonts, sizes, colors, etc. Only the title will be included in the Program Guide.
If you are a sponsor or purchased a Premium Upgrade, you also have the option to provide Products and Press Releases. If you have not upgraded, these items will be grayed out and inaccessible. For Products, click the Edit link under Products.
Enter the product name, short description, and long description. The long description can be formatted similar to Show Specials. Also upload a small and large logo that will be displayed with the product. The small image is displayed on the summary page and the large image with the actual product description. You can upload the same logo for both areas if you wish.
Like Show Specials, for Press Releases enter a title and description. You can format the body if you like.
Click the Preview link at anytime to see what your listing will look like online. Or use the search features under EXPO Hall to search and view your virtual booth.
