From a look at open-source content management systems, to educational uses of Twitter, to the power of targeted social networks, to the use of location-based services, you will discover the power of these emerging technologies and the communities that support them. 		ISD for the Synchronous Environment March 9, 2011 • 2:00 p.m. EST Presenter: Nanette Miner If you’re moving classroom content online, it’s a whole new world of instructional design! The synchronous environment requires a different perspective on common training activities such as discussion, flip charting, breakout groups, and lecture. In addition, the materials (facilitator guides, participant guides, and slides) that support the synchronous classroom are quite different.
